The Daily Prophet is an influential newspaper in the wizarding world based in London and is the main source of British and Irish wizarding news. The newspaper has morning and evening editions, which are respectively called morning and evening missan, and the weekend edition is called weekly missan.

Despite the widespread name of the Morning Miss, it still has the status of a somewhat dishonest and biased publication in the wizarding world. Some of the magicians think of it as "yellow press" due to scandalous articles.

In addition to news, the Morning Misan includes a magiology column. Magiology is the magical counterpart of zoology, and it studies magical animals. One of the most famous magiologists is Newt Scamander.  Newt Scamander is the author of Magical Animals and Where to Find Them, published in 1927. This book has become the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry textbook for students who want to get up close and personal with magical creatures.

The Morning Misan also has a Quidditch section, which features ever-changing rankings of all Quidditch League teams.

Public suspicions about Miss Miss's bias were strengthened when Albus Dumbledore and Harry Potter began to openly talk about the return of Lord Voldemort (during the second stage of the Triwizard Tournament, Harry witnessed his return when the Dark Lord rose from the dead at Hangleton Cemetery), and the Ministry of Magic did not disclose the story. He organized it, because it would create mistrust in society towards governance. During the Ministry's campaign to discredit and slander Albus Dumbledore and Harry Potter, the Ministry's goal was to convince the public that Albus Dumbledore and Harry Potter were cowards or simply insane. Later, the prosecution of the Ministry went beyond the pages of the morning missive and turned into a personal conflict between the Minister of Magic, Cornelius Fudge, and the Headmaster of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, Albus Dumbledore.

After Fudge was forced to admit that Voldemort had returned, Missy changed her stance  And called Harry "the lone voice of truth". The Quibbler newspaper (the alternative voice of the Wizarding World) bought Harry's interview about Voldemort's return and demanded it be exclusive.

The Morning Misan is a very influential advertising publication in the wizarding world, it allows businesses to place their advertisements in the newspaper. The Morning Misan advertises the following products: Nimbus brooms, robes, Floo Powder accelerator OWL (ordinary wizarding level). The ministry also uses advertising space in Misan, posting various warnings, classes on advanced defensive spells, and spells to protect your home.

There is also an editorial section of the newspaper, where any reader can send a letter and get an answer to his question. The best letter is determined by the title: ,,STAR LETTER. The classified ads section is placed in the newspaper - jobs, CLOTHING, FOR SALE,  LONELY HEARTS - with names.  Morning Misni's Tips section has various experts from different fields who answer the questions asked by the readers. Some of the topics covered in the past have been medical questions, emotional dilemmas, legal and misanthropic problems. The morning missal has a "wickedly difficult" crossword puzzle, a magic lottery and a magic symbol game on the last page.

Evening prophet - this is an evening publication that includes various non-political information. An evening message can spread very quickly and a witch anywhere in Britain has a copy of the story. For example, when Ron Weasley and Harry Potter were spotted by muggles on a Ford Anglia flight, Snape at Hogwarts already had this edition of the Evening Miss in hand.
