Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry
We think many children dream of studying at the school where Harry Potter, Hermione Granger and Ron Weasley studied. To bring imaginary and magical things into real life and embody their favorite characters in their own interpretation or even live in a fairy tale called the world of witchcraft and magic.
I'm sure every Potterhead knows the school name and history of these three best friends.
Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry is located in Great Britain, specifically in Scotland, from the name everyone will understand that magic is taught at the school. Hogwarts was founded in 990 by the most powerful wizards of the time. They were: Roena Ravenclaw, Helga Hufflepuff, Salazar Slytherin and Godric Gryffindor.
Hogwarts castle tower is located in the mountains, and there is a lake near it. The exact location of the school is unknown as it is covered by very powerful spells. Castle defense spells include an apparition prevention spell and an anti-muggle spell. To Muggles, Hogwarts would appear as a ruined castle, which even has a warning sign posted - "dangerous". Muggle electronics don't work in and around the school because there's too much magic in the air.
At any given time during the academic year, the school has approximately 1,000 students studying magic for 7 years.
The Hogwarts school has a Latin motto - Draco Dormiens Nunquam Titillandus", which in Georgian means "never wake the sleeping dragon".
🦅 Roena is one of the founders of Ravenclaw-Hogwarts. In his honor, one of the clubs was named "Ravenclo", whose symbol is an eagle on a blue and bronze background. Roena Ravenclaw valued wisdom, thinking and sense of humor in a person, it was with these criteria that she chose her students. According to legend, Roena had a glory that gave her wisdom and which was eventually lost.
Centuries have passed since Rowena's death, but the ghost of her daughter, Helena Ravenclaw, still haunts the walls of Hogwarts. She is also nicknamed the Gray Lady.
🦝 Helga Hufflepuff is the second founder of Hogwarts. Hufflepuff's symbol is a badger on a black and yellow background. Helga valued loyalty, honesty, perseverance in people. He was excellent at cooking. Many of the dishes that were prepared at Hogwarts were prepared according to his recipes. Hufflepuff's ghost is a fat monk.
🐍 Salazar Slytherin is the third founder of Hogwarts. The symbol of the Slytherin faculty is a snake on a green and black background. Salazar was fluent in Farsi, meaning he could speak the language of snakes. Salazar appreciated people's cunning and love of power.
According to Salazar Slytherin, only pure-bloods should study at Hogwarts, which is why he disagreed with the rest of the founders of the school and left the school in a rage, however, before leaving Hogwarts, he created a secret room where he hid the terrible monster - Basilisk. Basilisk's duty was to kill wizards of Muggle origin. Many wizards tried to find the room, but according to the prophecy, only the heir of Slytherin, who knew the snake language, could do it.
Godric Gryffindor is the fourth founder of Hogwarts. He lived about 1000 years ago. The symbol of the Gryffindor club is a golden lion on a white background. He valued courage and dedication among the people the most.
In Hogwarts, a question was raised as to who would divide the students after the death of Gryffindor, Slytherin, Ravenclaw, Hufflepuff. This problem was solved by Gryffindor. He enchanted his old hat so that he was like the founder of Hogwarts deciding which club to assign a student to. This hat has survived to this day at Hogwarts and is called the "distributing hat". The ghost of Gryffindor is a nearly headless Nick.
